Australian Computer Society is the designated governing body of Migration Skill Assessment. Skilled and highly qualified candidates who want to migrate to Australia as qualified engineers have to go through the Skill Assessment test. Australian Computer Society
Australian Computer Society (ACS) is the designated governing body of Australia that volunteer’s skill assessments for skilled migration to Australia. Types of Application in ACS Skill Assessment for Migration
ACS Skill Assessment for Migration consists of mainly four types. These skill assessments have different procedures to apply for migration in Australia.
Temporary Graduate – 485 Skill Assessment
If applicants have obtained a bachelor’s degree or higher education from Australia and want to get a 485 visa, then this ACS skill assessment is yours.
Post Australian Study Assessment
If applicants have obtained a bachelor’s degree or higher education from Australia and want a skill assessment for migration purposes in general, then this skill assessment is yours.
Skill Assessment
Skill assessment is organized on a global basis for assessing ICT employment and tertiary qualification.
Recognition of Prior Learning
Applicants who don’t have any ICT qualification or insufficient ICT must have to submit an RPL application. Firstly, applicants must have at least six years of experience in the field of ICT. Those applicants who don’t have ICT qualifications must have at least 8 years of experience but an additional 2 years of experience don’t need to be in the ICT sector.
ACS skill assessment validity
The ACS skill assessment validity is usually for three years. However, if skill assessment letter does not mentions a date, you can assume that the assessment is valid for three years from the issued date. In case of date mentioned in the letter is less than three years then the validity is determined by the date included in letter. If the skill assessment letter includes validity date which is more than three years old, the department will deny the date as the maximum length of validity is only three years old.

1.Aware of The Criteria of the Department of Home Affairs

2.Select Proper ANZSCO code
Applicants have to go through the description of employment duties related to an ANZSCO field while selecting the ANZSCO code. Make sure that your qualification, as well as work experience, are matched closely to the ANZSCO field, and then select the ANZSCO code for the RPL application.

Application Fee

Birth Certificate or passport

Employment Evidence
This is the most essential document applicants must provide to ACS. While submitting your documents there are certain things you should follow.
I. Statement Of Service
Statement of Service is the written report of your employment letterhead. Employment Letterhead content must be signed by your direct supervisor or the manager of your company.
It must contain the employment letterhead, applicant name, working hours based on week, official position on that company, details about applicant’s role in the company, salary every week, and contact details.
II. Payment Evidence
Applicants must submit taxation reports, insurance, bank statement, pay slips to the Australian Computer Society.
III. Organizational Chart:
If applicants are planning for a managerial profession, then must tender an organizational chart highlighting the job position.
IV. Self Employed
If applicants have their own business i.e. related to the nominated occupational list and work together as an ICT professional, then you must have to submit business registration details and official statements declared by the registered accountants or legal phrases. Letterhead, full name, nature of business, and how long you have been engaged in the business must have to include in your official statement.
