Skill Requirement
The majority of the jobs that fall under this unit group require a skill level that is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or a higher level of education to be considered for employment. The requirement of at least five years of experience in the relevant field and/or vendor certification can be waived in favour of a formal qualification. In certain circumstances, in addition to the required formal qualification, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may also be necessary (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
What do Analyst Programmers do?
Task
- Conducting research and consulting with relevant parties; measuring and assessing system program requirements
- Identifying the technological gaps, flaws, and deficiencies that exist in the existing systems as well as the related mechanisms, techniques, and methods
- Testing, debugging, diagnosing, and correcting errors and faults in an application’s programming language in accordance with specified evaluation procedures, requirements, and consistency requirements in order to guarantee that programs and applications are in accordance with the specifications.
- Creating and maintaining software code that satisfies system criteria, system architecture, and technical specifications in a manner that is consistent with and accredited by standards
- Responsible for the creation, modification, and management of the operational procedures, end-user documentation, and technical program.
- Make suggestions, offer feedback, and share your experience regarding the design of ideas and plans for program design operations, such as financial estimation and costings for recommending software purchases and upgrades.
English Requirement
- IELTS score of minimum 6 (L, R, W), 7 in speaking and 7 overall;
- OET score with a minimum grade of B in all sections;
- TOEFL iBT with a minimum score (L:12, R:13, W:21, S:23, and overall L93);
- PTE Academic with a minimum score of 50 (L, R, W), 65 in speaking, and 65 overall
